Whitley Abell - Maid of Honor
It was 9 short years ago that I first met Whitley in high school. It’s hard to remember exactly how or when, but it is definite that her friendship has made for many fun and interesting times, starting in high school and continuing on to now. She has been a constant source of support (and sarcasm) on a daily basis, ready to help with anything I ever ask---including giving me rides home for so many weeks when I was a teenager without a car. Her honesty has helped me to become the dedicated teacher I am today. The two of us have been through many adventures (college, boyfriends, vacations, graduation days and more) together, and I am excited to have Whitley by my side for this next one in Vegas.
Bailey Spier - Matron of Honor
Bailey and I too met in high school, when this "military brat" moved with her family into town. Her positive and outgoing personality, as well as Drama Club, led to the beginnings of our long friendship. She is many things: a Disney lover, die-hard Cardinal fan, proud Hawaiian, and, most of all, a dedicated friend. Without the help of her and Whitley, the proposal itself might never have happened as it did. I look to her for creative ideas and guidance - especially with wedding planning (which she loves). Her enthusiasm will make for a thrilling time in "Sin City."
Victoria Krones - Bridesmaid
Thanks to our freshman and sophomore Music Theory classes at Millikin, Victoria and I crossed paths and began to bond. She was and is a positive influence on me, helping me to study and have more confidence in my singing and teaching (though she knows I will never be a brass player). I look forward to our stories about teaching, as well as our visits to see each other. We have conquered new things in the country and the city thanks to one another (from petting pigs and shucking corn to sushi and the Arch). No matter what we face, Victoria is always there, looking out for us and giving sage advice.
Ashley Taylor - Bridesmaid
Dave Leisure - Best Man
It was at my first job at Computer Renaissance that the beginning of a friendship of over ten years with Dave formed. I can also say that without Dave, I would not be at Thomson Reuters today. We have been through a lot together - from float trips, to bachelor parties, to Mardi Gras, to golf tournaments, to lots of time at the gym. Through it all, Dave has always been at my side.
